The trashiest, dirtiest, scariest areas of Hollywood full of gaudy neon signs and transient hotels ready to be torn down to make way for the next trendy bar or club are the areas that are the most photogenic, and as Hollywood gets "cleaned up" to draw in more tourist dollars, it will become as sterile and gentrified as every other place vying for your money.
