Big Oil

Shot in El Segundo right where LAX meets the Santa Monica Bay. Second to Long Beach, this is probably the most polluted area of the Los Angeles coastline, between the ionized jet fuel in the air, the sewage treatment plant next door to the airport, the Ballona Creek outlet, and the oil tankers that frequently dock offshore. Incidentally, it's the only beach in the LA area where beach fires are either legal or completely un-enforced, as on any given night there will be at least a half-dozen raging bonfires at sunset.
