Not so Subtle

A shot I took of Shane when we went to Otis (where he goes to school) to play with strobes. Shane is not a subtle guy, in his persona or in his art. One of his art projects consisted of making a large stencil of an AK-47 and spraypainting it onto a canvas and painting around it. So, of course when he told me to come to the Otis photo studio and that be brought props, I had foolishly assumed that he'd brought other things than pistols, a baseball bat, a skateboard and a flashlight. We had some fun though, and I'll post more studio stuff further on.
